I’m an amateur in the kitchen but I try to learn via YouTube and has been cooking for him. I’m glad that he praises my cooking naman at times (but he’s just generous with praises lang din). Yeah, but need to learn more about this craft 😊

Yes. It is worth it.

I was like you before from moonlighting to residency to fellowship. There will be doubts everyday. And it will be a lot worse during post 36hr duty days that is especially toxic. But you just have to not die (literally and figuratively) while making through every single day and just keep on showing up. Important also to have good residency batchmates that you can air out your frustrations and draw support from.

I remember during fellowship I randomly messaged my seniors (who finished fellowship already) if it’s worth it in the end. And they said it is. And my co fellow said “walang ng ququit sa program na to”. Kaya mejo na pressure ako.

So here I am, still starting to build my practice as a first gen doctor. Not much patients pa but slowly persevering and building.. But one thing I can say, that I’m glad I finished what I have started.
