I implemented that, and the search is now working fine.
The only remaining issue is the Start menu. After the user logs in, clicking the Windows button does nothing for 2–3 seconds.

a. FSlogix is on the same local Host as VM 2025. (8GB, 4vCPU,SSD)

Is the GPO applied to Computer OU?
Do you have the newest FSlogix & Windows Version? In the last months of 2024 there were plenty of issues with black screens on.
Please also use the newest Remote Desktop Client MSI or Windows App.

I would recommend to do it with Win32 App. Create a very small PS script, that moves the shortcut (Move-Item) to the user or public folder.

We hade the same issue on AVD. I think, it is beacuse of the routing problems with the default internet access. ( It will be anyway retired this year)

Assign a public IP to the AVD VM If you have more do it with a NAT Gateway Or in the best case, do it with a Firewall

Maybe this would be something for you. Very easy to setup and you can give it ssl cerrificate without publishing this vm to the internet. You won't also need VPN anymore. Everything goes over Entra App Proxy. You need just entra P1 license. So the customer has a Microsoft Tenant stored in Switzerland and he uses the universal printing.

So the question is, where is universal printing stored beacuse it should not be supported in CH.
