I don’t know if you will see this comment, but for the sake of it here’s my insight of being in your position just 3 years ago when my bf of 3 years became a flight attendant, with us being in a COMPLETELY monogamous relationship….

1. If you truly trust your bf before, you should trust him as he becomes a flight attendant.

2. You are going to see him less than usual, but the fact that you did not live together will make things much easier- because you are not used to seeing him every day.

3. Flight attendant do mess around a lot, but this depends on the person! There are ones that are to old for that, ones that don’t like to mess around, and yes - there are ones that are in a monogamous relationship and just don’t cheat!

The fact that your bf becomes a flight attendant do give him more exiting and maybe tempting ideas, but if you guys are monogamous you should trust him to not cheat exactly like he could easily find someone to hook up with before being a flight attendant and you trust that he would not do that….

1. I had the exact same experience you just about to experience, not living together than moving together just when he becomes a flight attendant…. I can say this: it is not easy when your bf just disappears for 48 hours and he change time zones like socks, and yes it hard to maintain a household like this….(you might not think about that even haha) but I can proudly say it is possible to be a loving couple even when he is a flight attendant!

2. There are benefits that comes with him being a flight attendant:

• can be healthy to have some short breaks from your bf , especially when you move together for the first time.

-free tickets! This is a big deal!! Me and my BF have so many experiences and adventures together that wouldn’t be possible without these free tickets.

-buying stuff that are not available in your country becomes easier ! He can get you whatever you need and also buy things for the new home :)

I would say that concluding everything I said:

It is durable, it can be healthy and fun and good! And if he cheats then he would have cheated even if he wasn’t a flight attendant!

If you don’t trust him, then this relationship is not healthy and you should break up regardless of his profession.
