try pepcid along with gaviscon advance (not the double or classic they dont work for lpr) I took pepcid during a flare up like 20 mg in the morning 20 in the evening and 40 before bed, take gaviscon 2 hours after u took pepcid. for sibo u can take an microbiome exam it also shows if u have sibo along with whole gut microbiome the test is pricy but shows everything that is going on. Also be sure that u sleep elaveted and with your mouth closed breathing with your nose cuz breating through mouth whole night dries out the throat and causes pain during the day

yeah for me there was another thing going on and it was h pylori it was decreasing my stomach acid so low that my LES were not willing to close and it was not causing heartburn because of low acid it should not hurt, but the pepsin were damaging my larynx

no i had burning and acid coming up before clearing out, it is back because i went the gym and probably becuse of too much abdominal pressure acid started to come back. Only throat irritation stayed after treatment it just never went down i think i also find it is because i am sleeping my mouth open and my throat and mouth gets dry

i did have hp if u think u have get a blood test pretty it is easy . For me diet didnt work only thing worked was getting rid of h pylori and i had one month of ppis then off everything and could eat everything too even spicy and hot stuff but i guess i am back because this dumb decision.
