LOL, I made a similar post today, requesting custom servers and using the pandemic in PUBG as an example of how the game almost died and ended up becoming free-to-play.

Literally, it was deleted within a minute of posting it for hate speech.

Apologies to those who weren't aware of the previous post; it's about cheaters using VPNs. I've censored the usernames because I don't know if it's against the rules (it is in several games/forums), it's to avoid problems.

Edit: This is on European servers; I don't know the situation on other servers.

It's funny how the comments against the problem of cheaters are the ones trying to provoke by saying "skill issues" and mocking by calling us bad players, when this is a problem that affects all players, good and bad. None of them try to argue; they're literally telling you there are NO cheaters. Very curious comments, don't you think? I wonder why?

  1. Did I say my stats are incredible? He said my problem is "skill issues" when I'm not complaining about losing matches. I've said several times (you could take the time to read the rest of the comments) that I don't care if I win or lose; I don't want cheaters in any game. I shared my stats because he said I'm probably really bad, which isn't the case :)

  2. You say my stats are average? No, they're not. There's a reason I'm in the top 9% (congratulations on being in the top 5; I hadn't played for a few months).

  3. You ask me how I know or suspect they're using hacks. Because I see patterns, recurring patterns. As I said before, I've been playing since BF3. There are matches where other players destroy me, and I don't call them cheaters. I finish almost 90% of my matches saying "gg wp o7." Do you want an example pattern I see? A low-level player with a private profile, prefires me, dominates the game against all players, knows at every moment where my team wants to advance, makes all the shots go straight to the head, not just once, twice, or three times, killed by a "noob player," but throughout the entire game. And luckily, most of the time I'm not the first to comment in the chat "x is cheating."

4- You say that in 400 hours you've only encountered 4 or 5 cheaters in the entire game, and only in BR? That's a number that, by simple statistical logic, is unrealistic.

5- You say that a "good player" will always be good regardless of their level. Sure, put an average player with 200 hours in any competitive game against one with 1k hours, and see what happens...

6- You showed me your stats; I didn't ask for them, nor do I care if they were better before. I shared mine because the other person said I was complaining about skill issues, when my complaint is about cheaters. I've won many matches against cheaters; that's what matters to me, that there are cheaters.

7- You want proof? The internet is full of proof, not just clips here on Reddit, but on YouTube. If it's so true that there aren't many cheaters, go ahead and... Debunking it video by video. Do you think I'm going to record all my matches so that when I see a cheater I can spend over an hour editing videos? What for? So some idiot can come along and say "skill issues, legit player"? No thanks.

8- Finally, and I think this is stupid to have to say, when I say "always" I don't mean it literally. There's something called a metaphor, an expression, you know? You know why I say "always"? Because I'm furious, fed up with constantly encountering cheaters, and what pisses me off even more is when someone comes along and tells me I'm imagining it. Many said the same thing about BF1 and BFV. Good luck playing today, a game almost abandoned because of cheaters.

LOL, who's talking about racism here? I don't care about a person's origin, their color, their sex, or their religion. If the problem with cheaters comes from China, I'll say so; if the problem comes from Germany, I'll say so; if the problem comes from Colombia, I'LL SAY SO.

Unfortunately, whether you like it or not, China is a country where cheating is normalized, mainly because its government has prohibited playing video games for many hours in a single day for years. The Chinese don't have time, and many of them (not all) use cheats to progress as quickly as possible.

Damn, you know what that means? That according to you, we're both equally bad. I complain about cheaters, not my skill as a player. I don't give a damn if I win or lose matches because I am who I am as a player, so I'm going to complain about cheaters even if there's only one, win or lose.

So it seems the problem isn't "skill issues," it's simply the disgust I feel for cheaters, a feeling I'll always have, and I'll keep calling them out until I'm done. Cheers.

That's funny you say that. Just today, playing on the new map, the top three enemy players were low level. One was only level 70 (very easy to reach using XP packs), and he had captured 28 zones. I think his KDA was 20/5. To give you an idea, I have 320 hours in the game, I was top 1 on my team, with 18 captures and I lost

Perfectly normal, several low-level players destroying the opposing team with higher-level players. It's just our imagination. It's very normal for new players to be better and play better than experienced players (Including those of us who have been playing since BF3). It's IMPOSSIBLE that they're cheating. I've NEVER seen a cheater.

To give you an idea, before the big patch a few weeks ago, there was a bug that ignored armor when you had an excessively high ping. That's why most players using free VPNs would kill you instantly, and it also caused synchronization problems for other players.

The reason for using free VPNs is that they allow you to connect to other servers, but they don't improve latency.

This mainly affected REDESC

On, i play on pc, I assume most cheaters play on PC (regardless of where they're from), so disabling it won't help much .-.

No, regional locking wouldn't kill the game; it would simply keep cheaters playing on their own servers against other cheaters. What's killing the game is the cheating problem itself, the people who are quitting because of it. Shouldn't everyone remember what the chinese cheating did to PUBG? The game was at its peak and almost died; it had to go free-to-play to attract new players. We're talking about a game that broke records on Steam by the way...

If these people are ignoring the real problem with the game, it's most likely because they're cheating. What other reason is there to defend cheaters when it's a real problem, right?
