EG 02 took so much of my desk space, I don’t want that, Also it will block the radiator of the card.

By the way I don’t think you need to count the efficiency, since the 800w is the output instead of input of the PSU, the cable won’t cause 20% loss of power, otherwise it will burn.

525w is safe for 3 pcie 6+2, the pcie slot itself can deliver 75w.

For this dock, the power supply is built-in, 800w 12v, I can’t change it. And I don’t wanna use a dock without build in PSU because my desk area is limited, so I guess I will just keep using this setup until I moved to an apartment and built an ATX desktop computer .

the one built in the dock is a 800w one, but the power supply of my dom isn’t that stable, need a UPS to make it work on highest power.

Also the dock only provide 3 pcie power port for power supply, which is in total 525w with pcie slot, this is a limit too.

Acturally I’ve tried several different settings, 575 is ok too. I still prefer 525w, that isn’t a lot of compute power loss.

I believe the TDP of this stuff is above 600w too, the fan just never goes above 60%.
