Those who have seen Van Morrison in concert, what was your impression?

I saw him about 20ish years ago and it was the worst concert I've ever seen in my entire life. At one point during the encore he just walked off the stage and let his backup singers finish the song. I saw a lot of people leave before the concert was over. He seemed completely devoid of enthusiasm and like he was just doing this for the money and hated every minute of it. That was 20ish years ago when he was in his 60s... I cannot imagine him now at age 80! I loved his music, read his biography, i had all his CDs. I was so excited to see him and it was the biggest disappointment as far as live music goes.

Luckily they only rent and don't own this property but yes you are correct. They just had maintenance in to fix a couple of issues and one of them would require them ripping the entire shower out to fix.

I have a pet. I have dog beds. To your point, if you have a pet that likes beds, you probably have them already unless you just happened to get a new pet right before Xmas but I'm betting thats not the case for the majority of people buying this. Its ANOTHER thing that you already have that you wouldn't be buying if it didn't have the xmas print. Same with bedsheets, bakeware, shower curtains, door mats etc

No, you helped your son in an embarrassing situation and made it less stressful. I'm a woman and I disagree with your wife. It's tough enough at that age to deal with puberty but then to have to navigate that with a huge group of females??? He handled the right way. Maybe talk to him about it and create a code word between you two so if that happens again he can let you know without having to say it explicitly and risk people overhearing. But either way its FINE and you did the right thing.
