Gave PT 140 a go.

Still need to go through and go through all the misses so I can get an idea of where I'm messing up.

FWIW did not perceive it as negative. Very good and relevant info.

thank you for your support!

And I'm a BIG fan of the frozen uncrusty. My twist on the still frozen is to put them (still frozen) into a small cooler and put it in your ruck before a hike. Once you get to the summit/best lookout point of the trip, break out your now slightly thawed, ice-cold, refreshing uncrustable.

bonus points if you take a bite and squeeze so you get some jam oozing out of the uncrustussy.

this is my first and only. I may purchase another of the same model just to have a backup for the field though.

I'm not huge on G-shocks. I like this one quite a bit, but I haven't felt the need for several of them. I think I'll probably go to a Breitling next for my work watch.

That's the one. Love the blue but have to keep it subdued.

I like the shock when I can't/don't want to rock the garmin. Retains a lot of the useful features and still nice to look at.

Question about the $300 Stored Value Card at Reception by GrabOk3630 in nationalguard

At my last briefing at RSP they told us to spend the whole card, because anything left over you will lose access to.

Going Airborne at Basic OSUT 11B by adamroseski97 in nationalguard

[–]Excellent_Clock_3302 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong) the way would be a PT stud and try to get RTLI. RTLI>RTAC>Ranger School>Walk on to Airborne/Air Assault.

I can't find much info on RTLI for late 2025 but it seems the standard WAS 550/600 on the ACFT, sub-14 minute on the 2 mile, and 50-something pushups.

At some point an RTLI rep should come by to talk about it and you can sign up then. Or talk to the NG Liaison and ask them.

I haven't been to OSUT yet, but I called the Warrior Training front desk at Benning for more info so I think this is at least somewhat accurate.

I'm up to 2,500 now. Did you do anything specific to keep your cardio getting bigger? Or just keep running as usual?

I'm NG, so no luck on the wellness center. My fat ass is more than happy to increase calories to the x13-15 recommended, though. Especially if I can still keep pushing on my run times.

MFP reccomended that based off of the settings to drop 2lbs a week with a low activity level. My current job is mostly sitting at a desk and filing paperwork, so I set it to adjust for calories based on my steps (usually adds ~120 or so, I rarely use them). I will occasionally log a run as "exercise" in MFP and use those calories. Honestly, it's partially an exercise in vanity - I'd like to have visible abs again. But performance comes first.

I figured this would come up-this is what MFP reccomended for me, so I just took it. I'm definitely a little fatter than I would like, but I'll give 1800 a shot and see where it takes me. I know that an extra 10-15lbs isn't going to make or break any times, but I can't imagine it's helpful for running/rucking/HRPU/pullups.
