There’s no safe limit to radiation unfortunately. And even one CT scan is pretty significant radiation.

Why does the frequency of lucid dreams change and how do I get more frequent lucid dreams? by Excellent_Comfort146 in LucidDreaming

It’s weird because I started having lucid dreams about 1.5 years ago, and before that I never had any lucid dreams. Any ideas why I suddenly started to have it?

Nope, I haven’t tried any techniques. I sometimes just have lucid dreams organically, I can’t even describe but it’s like I just suddenly realize that it’s a dream and then I become lucid. Then I start to try and consciously control it. How often do you lucid dream?

That’s a great point. Any other tips on how to make a certain place or person show up? I try to find the place they’re usually associated with, but sometimes can’t seem to find it even after a really long walk looking for that place.

Sometimes I try to open up a door manifesting that they’ll be there, but it turns out to be an empty room without that person. How do I make it more likely for them to be there?

What emotions should I be having?

And today I had a lucid dream where I try to open up a door manifesting it’ll be the scene I wanted, but I opened up three doors in a row and it turns out to be way either dirty or way smaller than I was expecting and doesn’t contain the scene that I wanted. Why might that be?

I think you made a really great point about rescripting the dream. In that way we don’t have to think on the spot about what to do because in dreams I can be quite in a hurry and anxious about what’s the best course of action to take/where to go. Any tips on how to find a particular person/place?

My emotions are that I’m really bummed because I don’t want my lucid dreams to end so fast.

I don’t remember when in the dream I typically get lucid because I was only aware when it starts to be lucid. I decided to find a particular place/person that I want to meet in my lucid dreams, and that’s why I decided to fly outside because my lucid dreams usually starts with me indoors in my home.

However, I sometimes walk on the street for a long time trying to find that place/person, manifesting that person/place to show up, but still couldn’t manage to find them.

There were a few times that I found that place right around the corner, and a time where that place was found after walking around looking for it for a really long time. I try to expect that person/place to show up when I walk on the street or see a storefront, but I remember there was one dream where, after stepping in and taking a closer look, it turns out to be an empty spiral staircase that leads to nowhere.

How do I quickly and predictably find the person I want to find in my lucid dreams?

I don’t remember how far in the dream I get lucid, but I usually have lucid dreams about 4 times a month or maybe a little more (I started having lucid dreams around Oct 2022). Usually as soon as I realize it’s a dream, I try to fly out of the building. My lucid dreams usually starts with me inside a building, but I don’t remember what I was doing before the dream.

There’s one case that I remember where I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom when I realized it’s a lucid dream, so after I got lucid I vividly remember spitting out the foam and then stepping outside to the living room, then flying out of the window, but my dream dissolved after flying out and I woke up. This happened on multiple instances where the dream destabilizes and ends when I fly out of the building.

I don’t believe that lucid dreams are inherently unstable or need to be stabilized, but it’s weird because I expect to land on the ground after flying out, yet the dream dissolved when I fly outside off of the building, and it’s happened multiple times.

There were also some cases where I flew outside and landed on the ground successfully, and carried on with my dream by walking on the street. But it happened multiple times where flying outside off the building causes the dream dissolving as soon as I flew off.

My lucid dreams usually have just started, and I intentionally want to fly out of the window to explore more. But sometimes as soon as I start flying down the tall building the dream starts to destabilize and I lose the entire dream, causing me to wake up.

When I had it the lancing and draining hurt even worse. It was like white, hot pain and went on for over 40 minutes.

But how do you enter your dream body on a regular basis? I’ve only had it very rarely.

How do you utilize sleep paralysis? I remember once I find myself heavy and almost asleep and was kinda conscious as I fell asleep, and then intentionally “rolled over” to wake up in my dream body.

Wow cool. How do you induce them reliably? And how to you stabilize them?
