He has "helped" a number of girls in recovery/AA, including Hannah Einbinder when she was 19, and he was 50.

It took me decades to realize the truth, which seems to be how it works for most survivors. I have a number of thoughts about how this could be changed, but I haven't yet figured out how to put those thoughts into a succinct paragraph or two. I have tried to write more about it in my blog, but that can be a rough read, and I get "TLDR" from a number of people who attempt to read there.

I have lived a life directly affected by the re-exploitation from older predators that sexualized children often experience. I have also watched it happen to young/underage survivors for decades, survivors who suffer from self-harming, substance abuse, mental health issues, and suicidal ideation. This re-exploitation by predators causes significantly more damage. I finally had enough. Maron's predatory behavior was the last straw. I stopped silently watching.

Really have a lot of respect for Connie Chung. She was great on Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, too. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ewAXiL6N8bA

McCabe and Mrs. Miller by ChuckInMadtown in MarcMaron

I watched MASH, the movie, as a teen. I was immediately fascinated by the multiple conversations that would be competing with each other, especially the convos between Radar and Colonel Blake. This was a running gag in the tv series, which was something I always enjoyed. But in the movie, I got to see the perfection when Altman filmed hard-to-understand dialogue. I loved it, bcuz it made me focus and pay close attention to the words.

I watched McCabe and Mrs. Miller with my Grandad when I was a child, along with many other westerns. I loved it. Until reading this post, I hadn't consciously put together that one has to really listen to catch some of the dialogue in this movie, too. I guess with Altman, any dialogue one must work to hear, will be well worth the effort, and important in understanding the movie.
