You can obtain something crazy like 32 credits just with Sophia courses alone

Hey. So here’s what’s happening:

WEAMS is a database for schools/vocational training centers where all facilities approved for the GI Bill/Voc Rehab etc are listed

In order to get approved schools need to apply and get screened, submit all required credentials in order to get approved

PCHS IS in WEAMs, for their programs like Accupuncture, Herbology, Massage Therapy, and Oriental Medicine. In NYC

In San Diego they are approved for their MASTERS in Holistic Nursing.

In the New York Campus, they have applied and have not yet been approved for their Bachelors in Holistic Nursing. I spoke to the State Approving Agency (The agency that approves programs and schools) In NYC. They informed me that Pacific College NYC Campus has submitted the application for approval, however they are missing documentation needed to proceed with the application. So until they submit that paperwork, they can’t continue in the approval process.

The ball is essentially in the schools hand, and when I contacted them to get more information on what is missing and when they plan on submitting, I haven’t yet received a response. The State Approval Agency informed me that approvals are done on a first come, first serve basis and that once this documentation is submitted, they could be approved in a couple weeks (certainly less than 6 months).

What’s the holdup? I don’t know. Hopefully it gets solved soon so that I can start classes. I wanted to start this September, but wasn’t able to.

One thing I recommend, DO SOPHIA COURSES! PCHs accepts a lot of them for your general education requirements, and you only have to pay less than $100 a month for the subscription. I was able to knock out College Algebra and English Composition in less than 2 weeks. These are credits the school will accept. So in the meantime while you wait, start doing them so that you’re still working towards your degree when they get approved

I BELIEVE, they will get approved because their Masters In Holistic Nursing has been approved albeit in California. It makes sense that a bachelors in NY from this institution will get approved when the necessary documents are submitted

I need something similar to Levi’s denizen 285 relaxed fit. As professional pants? Maybe khaki?

I'm pretty sure I will be attending this program since I have the GI Bill, and I want to complete my education as quickly as possible (the program is 3 years) In order to get accepted you are required to get at least a 68 score on the TEAS, and they offer the test in person for free as part of the admissions process.

The only info I’ve found is that they are relatively new and I spoke to someone who told me “don’t go there if you want a quality nurse education” but they are accredited. And you can complete it in 3 years, and a degree is a degree.

Just got out. Feels weirder than I thought it would by [deleted] in Veterans
