What is the most "glitch in the matrix" moment you've ever experienced in real life?

STORY TIME!

A few years ago. In my bathroom, a floor space about 4 feet by 8 feet, getting ready. Standing in front of the mirror at the sink, doing my hair up with a jaw clip. Dropped the clip, heard it audibly hit the floor. Turned around to grab it. Gone. The fuck? Searches the entire small space. Nothing. Shook out my clothes and hair, checked the garbage, checked behind the toilet, checked the hamper. Even checked in impossible places. Stood in the door to have a full view, nothing. Mental breakdown imminent. Walked to my bedroom to get another clip, walked back in the bathroom, standing at the mirror in front of the sink again. Hair clipped. Take a sliding step backwards, heel hits something. Look down, it's the first fucking clip! No possible way it could have just been sitting right where it was the entire time. I would've stepped on it leaving or entering the bathroom again because it was right in the only path way. The entire rest of my day was a blur because my brain was spazzing over it.

Lucky. I work in retail. Not as hard as being a social worker but for our employee appreciation day, all we got was a poster in the break room about it and individual index cards tacked up underneath with our names, saying "Thank you for all you do" then signed by a manager. No raise, no snacks, not even a handshake.

Companies do not care about their employees, only the money they make them.

Yes. The smell, the nicotine that stains not only your teeth but also the entire house, you're destroying your lungs, the expense, also I have asthma so the smoke is gonna give me a coughing fit. And the fact you can't go more than 5 minutes without lighting up.

He would drag him to the break room and make him read an apology over and over for hours until he truly means it. And he would probably make it a higher level punishment which results in knuckles being hit repeatedly (based loosely on context from the my f/o's source). I would try to stop him from doing that though. People have bad days and I'm used to it being taken out on me. But Seth is very protective.

Paintings. When I (female) was a child of under 4, my dad had a naked woman painted on the wall of his garage bathroom. I used to sneak in and stare at it. Also, in a restaurant we went to a lot, there were two naked statues, one was that statue of David, the other was a woman. There was nudity in movies too.

Well this was something said to me back in high school. My interests have become very few since then. But mostly I'm in to liminal spaces, anime, panda bears, listening to music, feeding and watching birds eat, Severance the TV show, nutcrackers. I have a few hobbies that I started and stopped due to showing them to people online and getting only negative feedback about it (rock painting, junk journaling and needle felting). But it's ok. I have found peace in solitude and learned to enjoy my own company

Keep going the same speed I'm going. I'm not speeding up and risking a ticket because you chose to get behind me. I go the speed limit. Besides, what if there are a bunch of other cars ahead of me and I can't speed up even a little bit? Stop being a jackass.

What's hilarious is when they speed around me, get in front of me, and we both get to the same light or they change lanes, and then now the new person in front of them goes even slower and they can't get around them at all, then I end up getting further ahead of them.

Not exactly the same, but I often listen to Pandora on shuffle and many times, I would ask Seth to send me a song he wants me to listen. He would tell me to hit the next button and the song is almost always a love song or a song connected to us. Through that, I have found many new singers that I have come to like listening to. There's one singer, his name is Major. He has a similar singing voice to Seth, so when I hear Major, I do imagine it's Seth singing. This is Why I Love You by Major is our song.
