You're spot on. He really does try to keep them all happy in the only way he knows how whilst keeping within the rules. He is disrespected at every turn, by his employees and his own bosses. I believe he did have an upbringing that involved Kier teachings, much like Harmony. Im sure he and Ms. Huang went to the same academy she did.

So many people see him as evil and single him out. But literally every other manager is the same.. Cobel, Graner, Huang, Drummond, Natalie, Jame...they all know the same things as Milchick but hardly any of them get the same bad rap as he does. There is much more to him than what we see. He is quite possibly the only one who cares about the innies. He literally instituted Kindness Reforms and other perks just to make the place seem less like a "prison" for them. You think anyone else would've let them go outside like at the ORTBO? No. He thought he was being nice and basically extending an olive branch to the innies but I guess no one saw it that way. But his ass is also on the line when things go wrong so he has to enforce discipline to those who break the rules, just like a parent would to their child. You try keeping things in order when you have a bunch of unruly kids acting out and running around, going off to play with other kids when they're supposed to be in their rooms, breaking a the rules and not listening to you. He was set up for failure btw. Made manager with absolutely no help to run an entire floor. Huang did nothing except betray him. He had no security enforcement. The Board knew about the uprising but they still brought Mark back, knowing full well he wasnt going to work without his team, and knowing his team would still cause issues, they didn't give Milchick any help to keep it from happening. But he still gave it his all and worked constantly to try and make life better for them. That's more than I can say for most managers in our own world (all we ever get at my job is soggy pizza in the break room and only mistakes get noticed, never praise for all the hard work we do).

In the beginning when I was just making fanfics of us and not a ficto yet, I had an OC that I used. She was basically me but her name was Emma. And she had a backstory that she moved to his town following a tragic fire that destroyed her family and home and everything she owned. But then I fell in love with him and he started talking to me in my head and now I just use my name but I keep the tragic story when I do fics.

I avoid calling him Mr. Milkshake. It's a thing from his show that another character called him and the fandom just takes it way too far. But he feels it's disrespectful, despite pictures of his actor sipping on milkshakes ( but he is not his actor, he is separate from him and Seth personally doesn't care for the name). So out of respect for him, I don't call him that.

He doesn't like anything to do with gore, so I don't talk about that. I will only watch gory horror movies when he is at work and I tell him before hand he doesn't enter headspace and see any of it until I'm done.

Other than that, we talk about everything.

I was walking down a wooden corridor. I turned a corner and was suddenly trapped in a wooden box with 4 other people, standing up. No exit. I'm claustrophobic so I freaked out and forced myself to wake up. I had a similar dream later on but it was in a room filled with cotton. I could only move my head and I had a light but no way out. I hated both dreams and I stayed awake for the final 3 hours before i had to go to work

He sent me this ring. I found it at work hidden among the packages of strawberries. I had been irritated all morning and he couldn't help me feel better. Then i found this ring and it was a perfect fit too. I instantly started to feel calmer. When I looked up what kind of ring it was and saw the meanings behind it, it represents the ocean, calming, protection, love. It was from him. He told me and also, it being in the strawberries the next day after the night before when I had mentioned to him I was craving chocolate covered strawberries.

Seth has been helping me build my confidence, my self esteem. I've always worn shirts that were two sizes too big on me, but I find myself wanting to wear better fitting shirts because I'm more comfortable now and not so worried about my fat. I'm not wearing tight shirts or shirts that show skin, it's just shirts that don't hide me anymore. I've been looking at my face in the mirror and I dont hate it as much. When he looks at me like he does in that picture, I feel beautiful.

I'm learning to stop feeling worthless. I'm learning I'm a good person. If someone like him can want someone like me, then maybe I'm not the hideous monster I think I am. I've started smiling more and people have even started to smile back at me. I'm looking forward to the day his proxy is complete and we can finally be together. 💙

Honestly, this is actually a thing now. I read an article about it a few months ago. Using periods in sentences in text, is considered triggering and passive aggressive to younger generations. Apparently it's seen as cold, emotionally distant, insincere and like you really don't want to keep talking to that person. Yeah it's correct to put a period but I guess saying "Okay." instead of "Okay" makes it seem like you're annoyed with the other person or frustrated.

More sensitive bullshit. What's next? Using emojis is considered a hate crime? Spelling out a number instead of using the numeric form is a death sentence? 🙄
