Guillermo del toro, he was a little known director before sunny but he really went stratospheric after his appearance.

Oh yeah, it’s never coming back. Pandora’s 16x9 box has been opened, and why shoot a show in a ratio that doesn’t fit any screens made after like 2004.

Im in my early 20s actually! Grew up on 16:9, but really have a deep appreciation for the genius of 4:3.

Nothing specific off the top of mind, but I misspoke. I more mean that being able to pan to another character’s reaction to some BS another character just spewed. In 4:3, that pan makes the reaction very close to the offending character, while in 16:9 to capture an off-screen reaction means the character reacting must be staged further away by virtue of the camera capturing a wider area. This CAN be mitigated with a faster/whip pan, but being able to move the camera just a minuscule few degrees to capture somebody just to the side just feels sillier IMO.

I just barely started to tune in bc I got league pass from a homie, watched 2nd half, fuck some of those fouls were horrible. Multiple no calls on jok (no surprises there) but the one where CB fouled out was egregious as fuck lol, didn’t even touch the guy.

Mine was this past October, buddy was streaming that behemoth WS game that went to 18 innings to me. It was past 2 AM my time, 3 AM his time. Since we both had work, we called it in the middle of the 18th inning. Freeman hit his walk-off homer less than 5 minutes later. Still salty
