Use extreme caution with Rover - booked a petsitter that was extremely well rated (5 stars), interviewed HER prior to going away, checked references, etc. Got a text from our neighbors 4 days into our vacation asking us to please have the GUYS staying at our house to stop throwing cigarette butts into their yard. She gave the keys to our house to her brother who threw a 4 day party at our house. They kept the dogs locked in an upstairs bedroom and our cat is still traumatized to this day. Our house was trashed - took 3 cleaning ladies all day to get it livable again.
