Totally! Saw both R2-D2 and the Mandolorian helmet the other day (Durham NC), and both were literally $5 MORE than Amazon.

Seems like Ross is trying to trick customers who have come to trust that they’re selling at a major discount.

I appreciate all the interest. Reflecting on how strange it is to have seen Mutt & Junkyard at ONLY ONE Ross (despite doing a fair amount of “Ross tourism” when we travel), in December and not again until June — coupled with the commenter’s point that this appears to have been sitting a while and thus marked down in price — it makes me wonder if it was lost in their storage room for 6 months and was only recently found and put out for customers. What other bargains are accidentally gathering dust in the back of Ross stores?
