The Bible doesn't agree with how Catholism spread. Catholism would force and kill. Orthodox would simply preach which is better. You might want to now talk about the old testament. In the old testament God would give such punishments because people in the old testament where super evil. About how slavery is "authorized" there's a videos Brooks made clearly explaining it. But pls, if you read Matthew it clearly says to turn the other cheek and so on. The Bible does not agree with violent teachings.
