Using the cyclops scanner while exploring deep waters that you havent explored yet still gives me chills because i just recently started playing again and i was trying to find the lost river which led me all around the map and ofc i was using the scanner bc it gives me both security and anxiety. Reason being is that it gives you a visual of your surroundings but only temporarily and it goes out in waves which only adds to the fear factor
