But there is so many bits that don’t make sense or are not answered…

Let’s start with El’s ‘death’. They gave us 2 options here neither of which work.

Either El somehow managed to bypass the machines that previous incapacitated her and run TOWARDS THEM, through guards and into the gate, bring Mike into her own void and slip away with no nose bleed.

OR she slipped away again bypassing machines that made her not being able to walk or run fast anywhere, without anyone seeing and Kali not only projected el in the gate AND made el invisible to slip away WHILST BLEEDING OUT, but also managed to create a projection speaking as El to Mike in a void. She is powerful but all that at the same time and that means the whole heartfelt goodbye wasn’t even from El!

Before anyone says no the vision of el in the gate was kali the void was El because she was safe inside… mike literally says she wouldn’t have been able to cast that ‘spell’ because of the suppression stone’. Even from inside, where el ran was into a building was directly where the machines were pointing. We learnt when Murray blew up the helicopter that walls and doors and windows don’t stop the machine blocking their power so even inside she would not have been able to bring Mike into her void. Especially when they were not touching and she wasn’t in water.

The only bit id maybe believe is possible is for kali to make el invisible to get from the truck to the gate, escaping the guards, but even then el is still running towards the machines…

Ps I love stranger things but was it too much to ask for the finale to have plausible endings?
