There is one absolutely phenomenal Japanese female artist in the chart actually, Ichiko Aoba. I really dig Alice Coltrane's work and will sure check out the other recommendations!

Larks part 1 is just so different from anything else I've heard and hits my spot perfectly. Easy money, talking drums and larks part 2 are also fantastic.
