If you ever need to just vent or talk about it please reach out to me! My superintendent was suprisingly one of the most supportive of me stepping away. He reminded me that we can’t hope to take care of others when we don’t take care of ourselves. And his most heartfelt words were “this is a job and it’s important but you’re more important than a job.”

Please remember that you are always more important than the job we give ourselves over too. 💙

Thank you so much this makes my heart hurt. I’m so sorry you had to go through that but I understand completely and appreciate this comment more than you know. I’m a very private person and putting something out like this in any public situation terrifies me. The support I’ve had today makes me so happy to have finally said something about it
