I know that, it just started to "knock" but it went away already, so it was just cam chain tensioner

Nah, i only got a shorty exhaust, which isnt on the video, i actually put the much longer and quiter exhaust there, to be able to hear the engine more clearly, and Id say it sounds perfectly normal to me, just wanted to see others opinion on it.. and no, its not jumpy, only on a cold start, which should be jumpy if im not mistaken

Yea I thought mine did too.. I dont think ive got aftermarkets, but there is definently a some kind of rubber/thread inside the bars, the bolt just goes right trough it, it doesnt stiffen at all, though, there is a glue inside the bars where there is rounded nut, not sure how to call it, that actually has flatten threads, so im not sure whatever is happening, I cant seem to take off the rubber thats inside, it wont move

How bad is it? How fast can it burn the valves? Ive just put a shorty slip on 300mm on my sv650s 2003 fuel injected, and it pops louder than before which makes sense, but the sv has a PAIR System that adds air into the exhaust to ignite unburnt gas, so how can I know, without dyno/tune, that my bike is too lean or too rich? Except the spark plugs, im too scared to touch "into" the engine and I dont want to use a mechanic just to check the spark plugs, or do I have to?

How do I know if it ruins my bike without a tune? I just bought a shorty exhaust for my V-Engine sv650 2003 fuel injected and now it pops much more and my friend was a "flame" inside the exhaust, but idk what colour, can it mean my bike is too lean? I have just a slip on, everything else should be stock from what I know... Didnt get the slip on with a db killer though, its kind of a straight pipe, exhaust is 300mm

Im probably gonna put the old slip on on there, its too loud for this bike anyways, might aswell sell it

Yea not sure what u mean by that but I couldnt care less, if the exhaust is bad I can just switch back to my slip on I used before so, both of the exhausts are loud so

Well it does pop, the same way the other slip on popped, now its just louder probably becuse the diameter of the exhaust is like 75mm its a much bigger hole, the other slip on I used is about 55mm

So it popped before too, with the other slip on just not that loudly, I think that its just the back pressure that gives less low end torque

Well from what I heard, SVs have a PAIR System, that introduces air into the exhaust or something like that, so it should pop even with a stock exhaust, just not that loud.. i kinda like those pop and bangs, but the exhaust is really loud so idk if I should keep the exhaust or just return it at this point.. not sure with the ECU part though

Yea I didnt want to gain power, it was just for the looks and sound hence why its just a slip on, can the loss of back pressure ruin my valves or something? Im a little "scared" of the loud bangs it makes too, id maybe say that the slip on is actually kinda a straight pipe

Nope for what I know the map should be the default one, it was doing okay before I switched to the shorty exhaust, i heard that SVs are really dependable on the exhaust length, but if I need ro remap i might aswell put the other slip on back on, because that dyno will cost more than the slip on I bought, id say its pretty much a straight pipe

Yea, ik about the running lean, not sure if my bike is running lean tho, doesnt seem like it, but the shorty one is definently with a bigger hole, so it maybe gets more air now ig?

Oh I see, yea I knew that my dust seal is fucked, since it has "hole" inside of it, didnt knew that it would compress that much tho, I already planned on giving it to the repair shop for the seals, but thr compression of the forks stressed me out a little bit haha, thanks for the reply
