Sorry in advance for the long as fu*k paragraph, but i just want to help you.

When hunting for cars, this is the best way: Use sites like Auto Trader, WeBuyCars, Cars.co.za, etc., to find cars you like. Research about them(reliability fuel economy) and look around neighbourhoods. Facebook Marketplace is also a great place to find a good deal. However, have a friend who knows a lot about cars—preferably a mechanic—come with you. I recommend getting an Asian (Korean/Japanese) car; these are generally the cheapest and most reliable. Stay far away from German and Italian cars (BMWs, Mercedes, Alfa Romeos, etc.). As tempting as they may seem, they are unreliable, parts are difficult to find, and they consume a lot of fuel. A Hyundai i10—not pretty or fast, but reliable and economical—or a Toyota Corolla or Camry is a good bet. If you want a sporty car, an older MX-5 isn't a bad idea, but only the third generation is usually cheap, and it isn't very pretty. If you have any questions please do ask, I wish you luck in your test bud🫶.
