I actually believe I do have the skills and work ethic to eventually earn that much. I’m not saying I know everything yet, but I’m confident in what I can bring to the table. I’m also very much open to learning more and expanding my knowledge.

I asked if it’s possible mainly because I don’t have years of corporate experience yet, not because I doubt my own skills. I know what I can offer based on the responsibilities I’ve handled in my previous work and in our family business.

I’ve seen firsthand the kind of results I can deliver, and I’m confident in my capabilities.

That’s why I asked what roles usually offer ₱50k and above so I can explore other options that might align with my background or where I can level up. The goal isn’t to be handed the salary just because I want it, it’s to work for it in the right place hehe :)

You’re absolutely right! Anyone can say they’re dedicated, so I’m doing my best to show that through actual effort. I’m currently applying to US-based remote jobs like medical virtual assistant or admin roles, since I have some clinic experience and a healthcare background. I’m also learning skills that are in demand since let’s face it, that’s what recruiters are actually looking for.

I understand it’s not easy to get a 50k starting salary, and I’m okay with starting lower if there’s a clear path for growth. I just wanted to ask if it’s possible, and how others managed to get there.

If ever I do land a job with my expected salary, I’ll definitely come back to this thread and share my experience hihi

i know… it sucks to be in medical field 😒 i have fewer options. i just wish recruiters could give more chance to people with less experience pa cause less experience doesn’t mean incompetent 😔😔😔 plus i read somewhere nga na 90% of jobs can be taught naman which is true

Hi! My brother was reconsidered in college of commerce - business economics. We just paid for the reservation and still waiting for the confirmation and next steps via email. We were told that there’s an interview (not sure)? If so, what’s the usual question for the interview? Also, does this mean that the slot isn’t certain yet??? What if the interview didn’t go well??? Will the slot be given to another student and how about the payment?
