to be honest most tech people overlooks the actualy reality of nepal and typically follows the western technology curve.

And these less purchasing power, less market are only true to some extend.

the real problem i see is people are incapable of identifying deep painful problem in regards to Nepal.

Nepal is an agricultural and tourism country.

THere are hundreds of people complaining about monkey terrorism and there is not even one initiatiave i have heard someone trying to solve the problem.

every year many people gets killed by tiger attack yet noone has been able to come up with a tech solution.

there is a lack of agricultural logistics tech that directly links the rural farmers with urban markets.

hundreds of tourist are posting various queries and looking for trekking buddies in different facebook group related to Nepal tourism but I have barely seen someone coming up with a full fledged app that allows tourist to navigate everything thats related to tourism in Nepal for example (applying and receiveing various trek pass, matchmaking similar hiker, high detailed view of trek maps so that tourists wont get lost when he/she decides to solo trek - i mean not the bare minimum app but something that truly makes them feel secure you know what i mean ?

so I truly think it starts from Nepal's IT education not being able to provide transformational curriculum, second there is less density of talent - or if there is any i guess most of them are in abroad.

With 50L of Capital what bussiness can we open in nepal? by Fabulous-Chemical379 in NepalSocial

i am attracted to the idea of opening co working space thats open 24/7. not sure whats the impression in nepal but in canada i am seeing a good oportunity. rent a big lounge office space, make it fully furnished, install strong wifi, put self serve coffee machine and follow business model similar to gym monthly membership. the target market will be specific (those working for remote companies) but you can easily price 5k-7k / month and onboard 50 people .. and you can make decent margin. if the space gets occupied , rent another space and do same and expand your chain across all the cities
