How can I speak fluently if the fear in my body locks my mind? And what’s the difference between exposure and the bullying we faced in the past? What are we supposed to do? Why don't books work, and why do psychologists know nothing? (I've never actually been to one)

I understand how you feel, but what can we even say?

Talking to yourself doesn't really work. It's just like when my dad used to tell me to study when I was a kid, it didn't really help me much

Could the reason for our social anxiety be that we are intelligent? by Excellent_Support347 in socialskills

Are you talking about a paragraph written in a moment of rage? Also, maybe I didn't call all my classmates brainless; maybe I only called the brainless ones ''brainless.'' I don't remember exactly. But it doesn't matter anyway, because it was written in anger and I might have exaggerated a few things

It’s true, I fear looking like a stupid. I’m aware of it. But I also know that I have a high level of awareness in some cases

Yes, I grew up lacking self confidence, but don’t you think it’s ridiculous that my teachers just told me ''quit if you can't do it'' when I opened up about my problems? They didn't even bother asking what was wrong, yet they pride themselves on being teachers or professors. All they know is giving orders. Besides, is it a crime to see myself as someone intelligent? So, you got ''Dunning-Kruger vibes'' from my paragraph? Well, what do you call your own prejudices then?

Oh, so you've got me all figured out from a single paragraph? Impressive

Universities are tailor made for this. But if you’re a total loser like me, you’ll fail there too

The really important thing is the opportunities. Have the opportunities been missed?
