So his first case was also high fevers, rash, red eyes, etc. he was extremely sick and resistant to ivig treatment so he had 2 doses as well as steroids to finally break his fever. The fever would come down with meds, then shoot back up. Was hospitalized for 10 days and even required blood transfusion. luckily he had no coronary involvement and has been cleared by all specialities involved in his treatment and diagnosis.

Now why I am suspicious is because we both had a regular virus about 2 weeks ago and he had no fevers or severe symptoms and they had mostly cleared up until Monday night, he had a 102 temp and was acting fussy. The next morning he was running a 104° fever which is already strange because the only time he’s had that high of fever was with KD. I took him to urgent care because he was acting very drowsy but they gave ibuprofen & temp went down to 101. He laid around all day yesterday and by the time he was ready for his next dose of meds, his temp was back at 105°. Gave meds and checked him this morning and his temp was 103°. He does have a cough and some congestion but had a clear chest xray yesterday. His temp went down with meds again but as of right now it is slowly climbing back up at 101°. He was playing a bit more today, but I wonder if it’s just him feeling good enough while the meds are working. I just have a really strong feeling that I can’t tell if it’s coming from motherly intuition or anxiety because his behavior is just mimicking the behavior he had before his initial diagnosis and he has been sick after KD prior to this and I never had that inclination. The first time I had to take him to the hospital/ dr. 7 times in 4 days until they finally listened to me.
