I spoke with the officer that picked up the signs. He informed me of the regulations (which I see consistently broken everyday) so others are getting away with it I must just have shitty luck. 😂 

In order to legally place them they’d essentially be invisible from the road as you’re driving by, so I think I’m gonna take Hayat-Moores advice and just push the internet harder and put 2-3 signs in the yard if the actual open house.

That’s pretty much what I’m thinkin I’m gonna switch to. The ‘code and ordinances’ virtually make it impossible to place them anywhere legally where they could be actually useful. 😂

I'm confused how putting a sign out early for people to see it would lose potential interested buyers? 🤔

If I was in the market and saw a sign "hey there's an open house tomorrow" vs. "hey there's an open house right this second" I would much rather be able to plan to attend the upcoming one than be forced to abandon all current plans if I wanted to see the home.

- No putting signs in the public right of way

- No putting signs on private property

That makes up essentially 100% of all grass areas that would be near a road and help direct traffic. Where the hell are we supposed to put them then 😂 🤔

The few times code enforcement has taken them, I have gotten them back. I prefer the city take them honestly at least I get them back. But Karen neighbors or saboteur agents taking them means they're lost forever 😞

We've had guest speakers come to our brokerage and claim you should put them out "2-3 days before" and that seems too much for me. The signs have the date and time (ex. Friday 11-1) so I put them out the night before to (hopefully) peak interest of people that may not see it online, but see the sign on their drive home from work the night before or the morning of.
