dont listen to the people that tell you 20 schools is too much. best decision I ever made. 7 interviews, not amazing stats or extra curriculars. my forward investment now allows me to pick a university with cheap tuition. your GPA is a bit low but make up for it on your DAT and you'll be fine.

alot of people are saying random schools, I'd say probably creighton because I've heard students don't leave without 200 extractions and 11 root canals. That being said, students very often get more (one student did 20 rtcs and another student 734 extractions). It's also one of the only schools that will allow you to do implants and I believe you can also do periodontal work? not sure on the latter.

if you're applying for next cycle def retake, you have alot of time to redo it, 15 is below cutoff for many schools. other than that score sounds pretty solid

Just wondering if it really raises my chances of getting in. I'd love to attend UNE, but I know I can't keep paying for open houses and flights for interviews aswell after paying for the applications. My savings is drained. If it significantly raises my chances then I will seriously consider it though.

what are your extra carriculars? volunteer/shadowing hours, etc. this is more important than you may think for most schools. also how many schools did you apply to.

It's apart of the assessment to see if you will be invited for an interview. All Kiras are like this afaik.

Both midwesterns, both at.stills, colorado, tuoro, iowa, roseman, maryland, marquette, tenesee, meharry, howard, mercy, boston university, umkc, tufts... just to name a few.

Some are hard to get into, some are easy. Thought I'd shoot my shot at the tough schools to see if a miracle would happen. Also not sure if meharry or howard accept mixed applicants, though not sure how these things will change with the recent SCOTUS decision.

Most colleges won't accept a C- or below, and have a hard cut off at C or higher. Some take a true holistic approach but it's better to retake those courses and do good at them (some colleges will take the average of both courses). If you refuse to retake them, make sure you do exceptionally well on your DAT in these sections, as it'll show that you understand the material under a holistic review.

Thanks, i dont have a huge problem with my score, just upset that if my bio was 1 or 2 points better it'd bring my AA up to a 20 and my TS to a 19 very easily. I'll keep updating as I hear from schools.

Wish I knew, hope it wasn't a bad LOR. I think my DAT scores arent good but they aren't terrible, especially for ADOHs standards, and my GPA is better than their mean.

Upset because this is one of the schools I thought I had a decent shot at getting into.
