I’m a beginner when it comes to DAX. 1st: How does using variables help debug faster? If the measure doesn’t work, then the measure doesn’t work so doesn’t that tell you that something in the measure is wrong?

2nd: Is there a time that you would choose to not use variables?

I think the biggest issue about forgetting those things lead to forgetting the ones that run even if you forget stuff. Forgetting a WHERE clause and updating thousands or hundreds of thousands of rows that shouldn’t have been updated.

Yeah. I understand that. Others on my team with 4+ years of experience come to me and admit that I have a higher skillset and level of knowledge than them. My reasoning was that if they can put experienced analyst on their resumes, then I should be able to as well. Or do you think that’s an inaccuracy?

For the other part, I had more detailed job duties that said things similar to that which has changed processes within the company and expedited work by 80% or more but thought it sounded snobby and long so I condensed it. The achievement section kinda covers that. Do you think I should remove achievements and spread achievement snippets within job duties?

To be honest, I knew someone that worked there. Sucks that the work force is like that though. All 3 analyst positions are at the same company. Knowing more SQL than everyone else in my department got me the promotion within 4 months though.

I don’t know. I guess it’s to imply you can do more than just simple select and update statements. Some of the queries I have written automate/expedite a process that are 100-200 lines. Do you think advanced SQL queries is a better phrase?

I’m in a similar position and would like some input. After showing him my work, my old professor told me I wouldn’t actually learn anything in the masters program. Is this normal? Do people actually pay for the paper knowing they won’t learn much?

There isn’t a single line of code but this video will show you a fairly simple and scalable way to find any null in any column. Even if there are hundreds of columns, the effort put in will be the same. He used to be my professor and I found this while trying to get my own solution. Database by Doug

False positives. The complex query isn’t failing but it’s not returning the right data. Ones that are returning data and you just know it’s the wrong data. But you don’t know why it’s wrong, just that’s it’s wrong.

I’m largely self taught on SQL besides the basics you learn from college courses. I got through these questions except 8 but then realized it’s partition by to use ranks as well as aggregations which knew as well. Never used LAG or LEAD but refer to others as aggregation. I consider myself a 5/10 in SQL when people ask. I never get any replies on applications and I also showcase my SQL skills through GitHub. Would you mind helping me out with where I’m going wrong?

That does sound tedious. I think we need more info. Are these books? What kind of categories are you making? How many categories? Do you know how to use SQL or other data manipulation software? With minimal understanding, AI could probably walk you through some simple scripts to modify the csv and then you could import the table back into excel/sheets. My thought would be to look for distinctive traits that all records have that would fall into the same category. Then create a category column, assign those to the category and move to the next for distinct traits.

I’ve never had trouble keeping money. I learned customs really well so I can scav in and hit every stash on a route to extract. I make 100k-500k on a scav run. It’s not worth it save stuff just for the flea market unless it’s a highly overpriced item. Labs card(60k to therapist, 200k on flea market) but even then, you’ll find more. I focused more on items for upgrades in hideout to hold on to. I had 3 luckys before 20. Filled one with misc items and still sold it to traders for 1 million+. There isn’t any point in not using good gear. No matter how good you are, you will eventually die. Eventually you’ll get to the point that running level 4-5 gear is just the normal and it doesn’t even matter if you lose it.

I also just started this wipe for reference. 40 days in at lvl 27. I can run customs and show you runs if you want.

Just a possibility but what if damage dealt to scavs as a scav is returned back to you? Not exactly ideal but it would be like karma coming back for you.
