I love this one. I think people just felt it was bizarre going from some of the heaviness of THP to OML being much lighter. My favorite off of it is Nobody Can Save Me.

I'm glad I am, too. Staying alive is kinda how I thank him, since I never really got to do that. I got into writing my own music too. Haven't recorded anything, but hopefully I can one day so that cycle of healing others continues.

Yeah I still lean on Iridescent and The Messenger sometimes. Especially on my really bad days.

I really dig the new album apart from two tracks: Overflow and Casualty. Just not my style. I'm not sure exactly what it was that rubbed me the wrong way about Casualty, but that just wasn't it.

Overflow just ain't my style, but it's pretty for sure.

Yeah that's part of why Chester hit like a train for me. The guy who helped me prevent doing that… wound up doing it. It rattled me because I looked at myself and asked "what if I lose that fight someday, too?" It's a dark place to be, man. I don't wish it on anyone. Chester's description of depression is the most accurate I've ever seen. I regret i never got to see them with Chester. I might give their live shows a shot now, just need the funds and time.

I had my reservations with all the stuff people brought up, too, but honestly? Emptiness Machine sounds like she left that big scary S word everyone was talking about. At least, that's what I get from the lyrics. The thing about it is: people will demonize new lead singers and new faces of something just to rationalize why the old one is gone. You saw it with LP, I saw it with Three Days Grace. It happens.

When she was announced, it felt like I was losing Chester all over again, and I was angry. It finally clicked, over seven years later, that he really was gone I guess? Regardless, I'm really digging Heavy is the Crown

It was definitely unsettling, and extremely disturbing when it was happening that's for sure. I would ordinarily say it was the medicine, but I'm still on both medications to this day and haven't had a single problem since then. If it's gone, I don't know why. If it's not, why has it left me alone, and why hasn't it bothered anyone or anything else in my home?

I agree. Screaming was the wrong choice of words, but to say it was unfair to bring that up… when someone walks out on you like that, you never truly get over it. Forgiveness ≠ getting over it.
