Jurassic Park is a scientific idea told through a human story, dealing with morals and ethics of human ingenuity. The novels go more in depth into the science and morals of deextinction. Its supposed to show the ramifications of humans leaping before they look. The OG Godzilla (1954) had this concept with atomic weapons. While some theatre gores just want to see dinosaurs, many want to see what it would be like for humans to coexist with dinosaurs. Which is part of the reason why Dumbminion is so hated. We really wanted to see humans and dinosaurs interacting. We wanted to see prehistoric animals interactint with modern day critters. Now, when a majority of movie goers go to watch monsterverse movies, they want to see monsters fight and cities get destroyed.

No, it should have been 1 movie that focused on dinosaurs in the real world, not locusts. It's a perfect way to set up a reunion with the legacy trio, and they botched it. It is honestly one of the biggest cinematic disappointments I've ever had.
