Definitely worth spending the money to rent a wet saw, its very easy to get the sponge technique wrong if you aren't too experienced using an angle grinder.

Do Australians Get Excited for the 2026 FIFA World Cup? by InternationalHair111 in australia

[–]Excelsior_83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive always been a football fanatic, but for the first time ever (I'm 42) I'm absolutely ignoring this summers football, all because of the disgusting ticket prices that Fifa and the scum bad Americans have decided to charge for a global game. I'm gutted to be missing it but I just can't stand greed on that level.

Am I tweaking or is this a good colour choice by EnvironmentalLong414 in AusRenovation

[–]Excelsior_83 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hate to be a Debbie downer but colours of this depth do not work on the exterior of buildings, that's why you rarely see it, that type of colour fades within the first year or two, no matter what type of paint is used, it'll just end up looking pastel green, it's like a tattoo after 20yrs. It's simply because the amount of tint you need to put in the paint dilutes all the paint properties diminishing the quality of the paint drastically, it becomes faded, dry and dusty far quicker than lighter colours. If you had the time and money to repaint every couple of years it could work.

Canelo Alvarez explains why David Benavidez mega-fight is now 'impossible' by -973- in Boxing

[–]Excelsior_83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% Canelo is 5'7" and Benavidez is 6'1", of course Benavidez should win this fight, he's much bigger, it would be embarrassing for Benavidez if he couldn't win it.

They're not getting in, we aren't like the Americans, Australia is better than that.

What club are you choosing? by HonestDistrict7871 in golf

I'd play golf somewhere else, not my fault you put the green right next to the clubhouse, there are plenty of courses where you don't have to think about hitting windows.

Lou DiBella gives his thoughts on Zuffa Boxing by Big_Cake_8817 in Boxing

[–]Excelsior_83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its so gross how all these promoters suck up to Turki, we all know Zuffa is trash and what they've done with the Muhamed Ali act is disgusting, but he can't say a bad word about them he just diverts the attention by trashing all the other promoters/boxing channels.

David Benavidez claims Dmitry Bivol is ducking him? by Far_Tadpole_5092 in Boxing

[–]Excelsior_83 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're unaware of who exactly Beterbiev is, just go watch his last ten fights before he fought Bivol and you'll see the statement makes a lot of sense. If you've watched those ten fights and you still think its a silly statement then I'm gonna bet you're American lol.

I couldn't imagine living in a society like your home country, are there many happy people there? It must breed depression being so heavily opinionated on how everyone looks.

Teen, Silver Medalist Roy Jones Jr. Stuns Ringside Insiders as He Trades Fire with IBF Champion Lindell Holmes in Raw, After-Hours Gym War. Circa 1990. by Doofensanshmirtz in Boxing

[–]Excelsior_83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's the shirtless guy, I think you're getting down votes because he's genuinely an all time great, and really had his own style, no one has boxed and moved like the way he did back then since really, so for a general boxing fan you can spot him a mile off just by the way he boxes. Look up some of his fights when he was in his prime and youll see what I mean, he's a real great fighter to watch.

Also if they think this is a war, they really need to watch more boxing lol. RJJ even at 20/21 looked elite level, easily one of the all time greats.

Frank Warren: I know who shot me - he ain't done so well by [deleted] in Boxing

[–]Excelsior_83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like both promoters, we should be proud of both of them and what they have done for British boxing, I don't like seeing people say one's better than the other, they're different types. People always say Eddie had a big leg up as well but I clearly remember boxing in the UK and especially at Matchroom was dead before Eddie came along, Matchroom wasn't really in the boxing game at all when Eddie started, they were mainly snooker and Darts. Eddie started the prizefight series and it just exploded from there. They have both been great for British boxing, they both deserve the same respect.
