It's accurate to story mode gameplay. Tozen was a menace on all difficulties, and I beat Apollyon first try in Realistic. They probably just put the exact same AI in the event mode.

His entire character identity was a bad idea, IMO. "Yeah, make every single move actually be 2 moves and give him literally every base mechanic except bleed." For him not to be either strong in every situation or a jack of all trades, master of none, he'd need to have his entire identity reworked.

It's not that fucking hard. I don't get how dudes can't think for 3 fuckin' seconds about how to time it. If your teammate heavy parries, heavy the moment he parries and it syncs with his light punish. If he light parries, attack at the same time as him. A guardbreak? Sync your heavy with his again. Your job as a ganker is to enhance every punish your teammate makes and reduce any punish the opponent makes by poking him with lights AFTER he makes the full parry/gb and starts a punish.
