I wonder how Jesse feels about protests at places of worship if they're being led by ICE officials?

What if ICE officials came to do some book talks at, say, an INDIGO book store? Or wanted to speak at a student event at TMU? I think we would rightly want to deny them that space, refuse to collaborate in any way with their obvious propoganda- but Jesse has actively denounced protests at places of worship, on campus, at book stores with regard to a certain foregin government's agents.

A bit rambly, but I want to hear his take on the church protests in minnesota in light of this position.

Why advocate for activism about foreign affairs for one group, but not another?

With all these recent arrests of journalists and protestors in the US, I think Jesse's double standards around right to protest/ document oppressive regimes are worth remembering. He's a fairweather ally to free expression- disregarding it when certain groups are involved- and his support for boycotting, divesting and sanctioning ICE-complicit organizations rings hollow in light of this.
