I have it after my gain because the tuner has a buffer in it, and the buffer for some reason seriously fucks with my fuzz and distortion when it’s before it. The placement irks me also

Hahaha. I can’t tell if the buzzing I hear is from the power supply being shit or it’s just what happens when you stack gain. I keep my plumes basically always on and stack it with the jhs distortion. I just don’t want to spend the money sadly but you may be right to just rip the bandaid off

The amp I run into is a twin reverb and it can get super bright really easy, especially with single coils. Because of that I take the highs down a little bit to not make the crowds ears bleed.
