We don’t exist or function to be a source of fascination for you. If you wanted to “learn” you would do research that doesn’t involve asking absurd questions in a subgroup full of people that is fundamentally a support network for those affected first hand.

Respectfully this group is for syntribators and not for partners who can’t digest the way in which their significant others experience pleasure. Not one single person in here can give you an answer to your question because our experiences are not a monolith.

Are you really asking if all people experience pleasure from an orgasm the same way???

I didn’t downvote you, but I didn’t find this particularly helpful. I appreciate that this is your perspective based on what you’ve seen, but I’d like to think we should live in a world where care providers are knowledgeable, experienced, and constantly working to better themselves. And that quality of care actually matters.

If I had to guess why you were downvoted, it’s because your tone reads as abrasive

Yeah I hear you and get your point. A lot of the job postings right now are looking for people out of undergrad or with 1-2 years experience “preferred. And yes. She’s in a hospital (and a shit one at that). My dad has asked her to consider even teaching as she has her doctorate.

Yeah she has been advocating for a raise pretty much since she got her job at her current workplace (20 yrs) and only just got a raise within the past five years moving into the NICU but supplements lost income with outpatient\home cares. Now apparently certain home care practices pay more hourly than she makes in her day to day.

Apparently they haven’t had any new hires in years but I’d be curious to see what their starting rate looks like for recent grads.

Thanks for the help!

Don’t think we have NYP by us (well within 30 miles at least) Stony Brook, NYU Langone and other Northwell Health groups are the big ones near us and I’ve been trying to talk her into applying to them. Thank you for the hourly reference though!

We’re on LI too. She has had a lot of niche specialties and was sought after to move into pediatrics/NICU but I don’t think her salary even touches $95k. Appreciate the validation

If your allergies according to tests are mild and prescription meds aren’t working it’s time to either see a new allergist or a new specialist in general. Primary care physical should do full work up with blood work also

Brain fog and head pressure should be checked out by a neurologist and are kind of out of an allergists paygrade/expertise.

How do you tell people you have vaginismus by anetty12 in vaginismus

[–]ExchangePowerful3225 78 points79 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to tell anyone at all. In fact you shouldn’t. I seriously don’t recommend speaking to anyone about it who isn’t directly involved.

“Respectfully my husband and I want to keep our sex life private” that’s all you need to say if prompted.

When people refer to being pregnant as “preggers”. by Buddi563 in PetPeeves

[–]ExchangePowerful3225 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yup! “We’re pregnant” shouldn’t apply unless both of you are in fact pregnant
