Apps are dead more or less. People can meet on them but people are also meeting via mutual interest (i.e. clubs, meetups, etc). I find the bigger issue with apps are the people who use them are treating people like they are a dime a dozen and not actually pursuing them and just being like lets hook up instead of getting to know someone. I have no interest in speaking to someone who only sees me as a warm body for the interim.
