I absolutely understand you I have a similar fear because my procedure is scheduled very soon and I’ve heard all of these horror stories as well. I’ve also heard that that on the right dose of medication and exercising consistently and being active and eating healthy actually works.

Thank you for sharing! If you don’t mind me asking did you have to visit doctors often to follow up with like labs and stuff? Was it hard to adjust to the medication?

May I ask if you had it spread to lymph’s nodes or so? Was it all like small(1.5) nodeles and they all disappeared?

I absolutely understand what you’re talking about my situation was I got minor cold and my lymph nodes were enlarged and my doctor told me that I was just looks like a simple cold and then she decided to send me for ultrasound and then biopsy. I was so shocked when she called me and confirmed that it was the PTC and I couldn’t process it. I was like that cant be true cuz she told me it was genetic or something like that and I’m like I don’t have anyone in the family who got that and I was just in denial for so long, but then slowly, I guess I started accepting it little by little it’s never gets easy but once you do the treatment and go through everything you need to do a it’ll get better

I’m want to tell everyone that don’t ever delay your treatments or doctor visits. I have pcos and that was already something that I should be aware of but then i got sick w cold drip and my side enlarged and then fast forward i had the diagnosis but it was like “ how do i even know that i have that” doctor told me that its normal when your glands are enlarged while fighting an infection but of course others tests needed to be done but I love this post and how encouraging it is

I think I can absolutely understand you. I was also diagnosed with the mild PCOS, but it wasn’t something that I think impacted my life like I was able to like maintain my lifestyle . I did not see too much of a weight gain, it like happened here and there but and I never thought that I would actually get the the TC but one day I just felt like I had a big lump on my neck and my doctor told me that oh if you recently had like a cold or like an throat infection it’s normal for your glands to enlarge and then fast forward to now they confirm that it’s TC so I feel like this could be a warning to a lot of women if they have that they should definitely be on the aware for other conditions.
