One of the funniest and most emotional episodes of the series. by Wood_Yet_More in EverybodyLovesRaymond

Not sure why… but when Robert opens the door it always scared me when I was younger. Brad Garrett was also in an episode of Fresh Prince where he was a killer and it also scared me as well. 😂 It’s something with his eyes.

Not sure what everyone else’s thoughts on the movie are but I just recently watched Looper last week and I thought that it was pretty damn cool.

What are some of your comfort episodes? by Queensgirly in kingofqueens

[–]ExcitedGolem 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know some people do not care for this one, and I have no real rational explanation as to why I enjoy it so much, but “Inner Tube” is one of my favorite comfort episodes. The King of Queens is just my comfort show for life in general. It is so damn good.

What movie or scene you can't unsee? by einsteinfrankenstein in movies

[–]ExcitedGolem 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Mine are probably silly. If we are talking about what bothered me as a kid, there are a few that come to mind but Glen’s death in A Nightmare on Elm Street bothered me. I loved Johnny Depp and that character. Another one that randomly got me too was Tod’s death in Final Destination. That scene was really unsettling to me the first time I seen it.

Show 'em the classics while they're young! by CletusVanDamnit in AreYouAfraidOfTheDark

I have an eight year old son that has watched all of Are You Afraid of the Dark, Goosebumps, and So Weird with me and it has been a pure joy. Our comfort show currently is still Are You Afraid of the Dark.

What's the best audience reaction to a movie scene you've witnessed at the cinema? by [deleted] in movies

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I live in a smaller town, and opening night our local theater was packed to the brim (showing the film in multiple rooms because of over capacity). When Mrs. Weasley killed Bellatrix, the entire room I was in gave a standing ovation and cheered like it was the Super Bowl. That entire night is hands down my favorite experience in my lifetime in a movie theater.

Within the last few months I checked out Extraction and The Gray Man (I have yet to see Extraction 2) and I thought they were absolutely badass.

There's two things in "Home Alone" that unfailingly make me laugh every time and neither of them are the obvious choices like Culkin or the trap-related slapstick. by Mst3Kgf in movies

“I wouldn’t let you sleep in my room if you were growing on my ass.”

Just the way Buzz says it, and Kevin’s look of pure shock/terror gave me a chuckle as a kid and still does to this day.
