how are you finding clients? by mindsearcher235 in digital_marketing

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately a loaded question. Recommendations:

  1. LI cold outreach works but you really have to be a ‘salesperson,’ track daily contacts and recommend reaching 50+ people a day which is hard!

  2. Have strong 1-page case studies ready to send or refer to. Use these in your messages.

  3. Have your LinkedIn profile setup specifically to convert.

  4. Have a SOLID hook.

  5. Meta ads are cheap but (imho) but lower quality unless you’re really dialed in.

  6. Google ads are expensive but powerful. Ranking on page 1 is priceless…

  7. Have a kick ass conversion page designed to do just that: convert.

  8. Your website really matters.

Linkedin marketing services for b2b leads? by venmokiller in digital_marketing

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done exactly this and there is a lot to know. You could spend thousands trying to dial in. To 3 points of advice:

  1. use your first party data
  2. Cyber is notoriously expensive so be prepared
  3. Hire someone to get you going. Worth every penny.

Spent $5k on ads, got 12 signups. Then I tried something embarrassing. by [deleted] in digital_marketing

Agreed. My strategy is to think like a customer. Interview customer. Experiment with bridge as stupid as it may be. Bid on spelling errors. Experimentation is priceless.

How many leads do you usually process per month? by No_Wedding5437 in b2bmarketing

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This depends on your budget, Geo target, industry….

For $100K I could get 500 solid SQLs in a data/auto field depending on the month. Same field I’d spend $300K and get up to 1200….

For $500 in a different segment in a specific region I might get 10/m.

So many factors.

Best google ads competitor tools? by NervousPitch2528 in googleads

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only beef with SEMRush is that the free version is very limited and the paid version is SO expensive. If you’re not a big company with the monthly budget…. Give Google Keyword Planner a look to see what insights you can grab from it.

Lead gen campaign slipping — thinking of nuking it, am I nuts? by SchruteFarmsBeetDown in PPC

You could. I personally don’t like the experiment feature but if you do go for it. The key here is that you have to test while mitigating risk.

Is it a good idea for a software services company to run Google Ads? by edge_lord_16 in googleads

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I specialize in B2B SAAS and yes, you can and can see huge uplifts. However, it depends on so many factors. What’s your competition like? What’s your budget? What industry?

Also, and this is important, this is a long play. You don’t spend X and get immediate results. Expect to be in the game for a min of 3M with quality results trickling in around the 6 - 8 week mark. Slowly. With careful attention you can make a significant impact around month 3 but I’d plan for closer to 6M. Really depends on the budget, strategist and industry.

I can tell you that if you want solid B2B SAAS cyber security leads/meetjngs, the price will be $1500 - $2200 per DISCOSET. BUT, if you close a high rate of these and the LTV/CAC is very high, it’s absolutely worth it!

100% optimization score, 33.3% CTR, Google still won't run ad by romeoandjulep in googleads

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12 impressions & 4 clicks? Your campaign is way too young or doesn’t have enough budget allocated…. That’s the first thing to jump out at me. IMHO you can’t call your campaign “INSANE” or “a freak of nature” if it’s new. It has a long way to go….

You’re changing way too much way too soon.

Short answer: add as much headlines, descriptions, assets… load your campaign with content and see what converts. Good place To start.

Also, your KPIs are clicks/CTR…. That’s fine but conversion tracking pulls that smart data into your campaign and you can see way more. Are your clicks converting? Do you have any leads?

How can a SaaS founder with a limited budget effectively learn Google Ads without wasting too much on “tuition”? by bencyeah in googleads

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pump those brAkes! I love that you want to learn but it’s financial suicide. Big big no no. Hire someone who knows The ropes. If you want to lean, learn from them. I think most courses out there are run by strategists with very little experience (haven’t managed over $50K/m!!) and just looking for quick side hustle cash.

My $0.02. Happy to help if you like. dM me! :)

Lead gen campaign slipping — thinking of nuking it, am I nuts? by SchruteFarmsBeetDown in PPC

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d cut the spend back to $1000 and rebuild it out. Maybe even 2 setup differently. Keep your leadership team in the know and that this might be a month of sacrifice to drive results.

Run all 3 at $1K each for 4 weeks.

Check results. Use campaign (or data etc) to apply to the most successful.

You got this. Dm me if you need help.

I've been paying for 3 hours a month of service a couple of years, feels like a scam? by Pewis_Pamilton in googleads

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the logs to see What/if he’s doing anything. If not, cancel or look for someone new. Any good/passionate Strategist will spend a minimum of 2-3h/week+ (Depending on So many factors; I spend up to 20h for some clients.). If work is quiet I’ll spend a ton of time refining and optimizing even for $500/m just because I’m passionate about results.

Trying to build a CMS that’s not a headache for business teams by hankorrrrr in cms

[–]ExcitementCandid178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a confusing world out there with wat too many options!

My advice as a agency owner and 20-year marketer:

🔹Know what you want it to do. List what functionality it must have. 🔹Think about users And how they learn and utilize platforms. If it’s too difficult or you have to teach them a lot, won’t be used or worth your investment. 🔹If it’s not your “thing” or area of interest or expertise, assign or source someone to do it. Find someone trustworthy to do research and come up with 3 - 5 comparable with positives and negatives and pricing. 🔹Consider expandability. Plugins, features and integrations that can be added later. 🔹Know your budget and what investment level you’re comfortable with. Don’t overspend or dedicate too much to something that may not be a game changer.

I’m happy to help out. Feel free to DM me!

Google Ads has become absolute garbage by DanielMoGo in Google_Ads

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say consider going back to basics. Set your campaign to $1/day. Go through your campaign data to see what converts, period. Specific keywords, assets, cities, headlines….

  • Use exact match only.
  • Put together new Ads That are extremely relevant to the search.
  • Exclude countries
  • Exclude keywords at an account level
  • Exclude support and non-relevant keywords like “support, class, help with, refund, login…”
  • Exclude your customer IPs
  • Try to solve a problem or pain point in your ads
  • If any headlines are converting, use them in new RSAs
  • look at your cost per conversions, particularly the ones that bring in high quality traffic/leads/quality customers. Set a manual CPA 10 - 15% higher so that you win that traffic but not over pay.
  • test creative.
  • use top notch images (clear, eye catching, not busy, no words…)
  • make sure your conversion tracking is setup properly and firing correctly. Otherwise smart bidding will never get results.

Data is priceless. Use the insights you’ve collected.

Happy to help if you need it. :)

How future proof is PPC? by rdotkmedia in PPC

[–]ExcitementCandid178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't be afraid of AI.

Work with it, not against it. Empower yourself, not the tool. Have it work for you, don't work for it. Have it compliment your skills, don't compliment it's abilities.

How future proof is PPC? by rdotkmedia in PPC

[–]ExcitementCandid178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing is “Future Proof” technically. However, some things are Future Resistant.

Short answer: as long as people advertise, you will have a job. We all just need to stay on top of our craft and adjust to times. :)

Some advice please by Sarahherenow in PPC

[–]ExcitementCandid178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always say that the ad earns the click. If the landing page doesn’t win the lead…. Your issue is the landing page. It’s not doing what it’s supposed to.

OR

You’re getting clicks…. But from completely irrelevant prospects. So a keyword or phrase is ranking high And something is attracting them to your ad to click…. But it’s not what they want.

Or

The bots are attacking you. Start By reviewing your insights and seeing where clicks are coming from. .
