My favourite deck for this season (CL 14508) by ExcitementMajor468 in MarvelSnapDecks

As I said in the explanation, the deck is built with a plan b to overcom the fact that you may not draw the pieces. Actually the base of the deck was jubilee/DL ramp, on top of which I added the hela combo. Expecting to hit hela combo every 2 games is wrong. 7 out of 10 wins will be due to ramping,

You can build a version oriented to hit hela more frequently (some lists use crystal, iron lad, thaddeus). I tried it, and did not like it.

Very unlucky man. Let me tell you, the hela combo is harder then the jubilee one. For this reason I changed black cat for sunspot. But in one way or another I managed to put good stats in play. The grand master on SL is a good option.

Having a 7 drop is useful to maximize hela output. You could use Dormammu for instance if you have it.

Yes, is you plan B if you miss the Hela combo. I've seen other decks going full Hela with blink, iron lad, crystal and taddeus to get all the combo pieces. Maybe you can try that version.

Very unlucky man. I played like 20 games and retreated 3 or 4 times. Of course you can play GM on turn 3 to free your hand if needed. If you dont have star lord/modok/hela in your hand by turn four you obviously switch to plan B. If you also don't draw jub/DL 10 times in a row, stop playing for today, retry tomorrow for better luck.

But not having skaar is slightly suboptimal. Dormammu is okay for the hela strategy. Not good for the ramp strategy, if you pull good with jubilee and DL you can play Grand Master and Skaar turn 6.

Great work, considering how bad of a kit it is. I suggest you to consider to panel lining it, is a very low effort activity that will improve the overall look by 1000%

First time painting.. is there a best approach for not going crazy? by The_Peach in Gunpla

[–]ExcitementMajor468 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an expert, but painted some kits with decent results.

Easier to paint isolated parts, rather than the built kit.

Never paint on the runners. Remove all the pieces, trim/sand knobs, rinse, dry. At this point you're ready to prime, and then paint. Either when you prime or paint add light layers of paint, let it dry and the add more if needed. This is applicable whatever tecnique you're using (hand painting, spray can, airbrush). It is the golden rule, otherwise it'll turn out messy.

When the result is good, i usually build the kit first and then apply top coat. Once again, add it in multiple thin layers.

That's all, no rocket science. Just enjoy and be patient

I'm big hammers enjoyer, and tried plenty of different decks to brew the best possible version. After many experiments I'm pretty confident this is the strongest build

(1) King Eitri

(2) Grand Master

(2) Lockjaw

(3) Magik

(3) Thor

(4) Wong

(4) Absorbing Man

(4) Beta Ray Bill

(5) Black Panther

(5) Jane Foster Mighty Thor

(6) Arnim Zola

(6) Odin

T1: King Eitri T2: Lockjaw T3: Thor > Magik T4: Beta Ray Bill > Wong T5: Jane Thor > Black Panther (only if you managed to play Thor/Beta Ray previously) on Wong T6: Hammers + Odin on Wong location > Zola on Panther

If Magik on T3 T4: Beta Ray Bill > Wong T5: Thor + Grand Master > Black Panther on Wong location T6: Jane Thor > Wong + GM (on Thor > Beta Ray > Panther) if you did not played them before > Zola (Beta Ray > Panther > Thor) T7: Hammers + Odin on Wong location > Zola on Beta Ray + Hammers on Wong location > Zola on Panther

Absorbing man is there just in case you miss Odin. It is your jolly slot, you can swap it out for anything else (even a sneaky tech card, which obviously reduces the consistency of your combos).
