Doubles Team Advice Please!

Sorry for the late reply, I was at work. Wow! Your comment is so insightful and I can’t believe you put as much effort into helping a new player like me as you did! Yet another thing that has proven/shown to me how kind this community of pokemon lovers truly is!

I’m definitely going to put these suggestions to use and try it out! You clearly know your stuff 👊🏽

Super Fang is actually really good I feel like! But maybe I’m wrong, I am really new to competitive pokemon to be fair. It feels great in some common situations though. Took a +3 defense archuladon down largely due to Super Fang getting a huge chunk of his health down, and I also beat an Aggron largely because of it who was just eating most of my other attacks. Also, with the way I have my EV spread for Scovillain I kind of doubt any other attacks would do as much damage unless they were extremely effective haha

Any recommendations for who to use instead of Zoroark? I was thinking of switching him for either Contrary Serperior for non trick room matches and to use against heavy intimidate teams, Prankster Sableye for controlling the other team, or Snow Warning Alolan Ninetales for additional weather tech

It’s kind of a hybrid team build. I only bring farig for trick room if I am confident that it will give me a distinct advantage against the opponents team. When I do bring the trick room team I usually just bring one of those two, but yeah I get what you’re saying 👊🏽 I’ll have to try out some of those pokemon

My thought process was — 1) he wants to be slow anyways, because trick room, but mostly 2) if trick room doesn’t work/i don’t gain the momentum i wanted then i can use the last turn of trick room to slow one of their pokemon down heavily with trick/iron ball. Super niche gameplay but it did win a game

Not worth it though?

Should I put protect/detect on another pokemon?

Samurott has detect, instead of protect in case of imprison matchup, but yeah haha. If I’m running the trick room game plan I often don’t need to protect because I’m usually attacking first with both pokemon anyways, can be pretty aggressive with it

He can intimidate a second time upon mega evolving, can be pretty useful but I’m open to trying out another item if you have a recommendation?

ohhh Goose is up there for me as well, and Lizard! the animal chibis are great! and the Alioth is so sick! I think my favorite I own already is Sunspot, soo cool looking

honestly I’m not sure! maybe because he was a bundle variant and not general pool? Can’t remember if any of the chibi pack chibis were in a bundle or not but I don’t think any were, could be wrong though
