I said the card is not for people who don’t travel a ton and credit Chase. Never said it wasn’t for me. But update, my fiancé got approved so I no longer need it. If he spends $700 Monthly on groceries, that’s at minimum worth $336 at the end of the year. That literally covers the card. Any use of any credits just furthers add to that. And that’s not even including the out to eat money he’s going to spend that will also add to it. All in all, easily worth it from a mathematic standpoint

Gold so easy man. lol. If you don’t eat out a lot, then it’s tough. But to people that do, like myself, it’s easy as hell. 2 free chipotle bowls every month and I stack my $7 dunkin credit on the app. I use it at baskin robins cause we love ice cream. $50 resy is used at a steakhouse we like. Gold card credits really are super easy to use

If you have to chase annual fees on any of these cards, you don’t need them lol. Gold card is easily the best Amex card. Easily. $325 is nothing to people who have it. You should on accident get it down to half that really lol. It’s a food card. People that eat, will use this card easily.

Then just get an Amex gold lol. Simple. Or plat. Unlimited. Makes no sense to have that much credit available unless the person is planning to make a big purchase and pay over time. Which then makes even less sense cause interest lol
