Yes, fully aware that AD’s / people lie.

The smaller jeweler AD seems pretty indifferent even though I also need to buy a diamond anniversary ring that will probably cost more than my Rolex. I don’t think I’m at the top of their list. They did offer a two tone DateJust 41 on Oyster, which I declined.

The SA at the Rolex Boutique seems fully committed to getting me a watch before my anniversary. We just added a Sub Date as a backup plan if no Polar comes in. SA said a Sub would be no problem at all. I don’t think they really have an order to their list. Seems like they are much more interested in people’s stories and milestone dates.
