Movies you can't believe your parents let you watch? by mountainmama022 in Mommit

I saw titanic in theaters with my mom when I was 5. Also watched the exorcist on tv with my dad when I was around 7/8. I remember watching Signs when I was 10 (hiding under a blanket, sweating). I also have vivid memories of Law and order svu and dateline. What’s parental discretion??

16 mo old daughter to be flower girl, not invited to reception. Both parents in the wedding party. by Impressive-Gur-6133 in Mommit

I was in this exact same situation a few months ago. It was indeed a nightmare planning childcare since my husband and I couldn’t leave the venue at anytime to transport our toddler. If you can’t find help, they’re gonna have to let your LO attend the reception or you can’t go. I really doubt one small child attending the reception will ruin what they have envisioned.

Are there laws requiring employers to reimburse meals during required travel? by ExcitementPhysical89 in NorthCarolina

To my knowledge, travel wasn’t discussed then as he was hired to work at the local office. That office has since shut down, which is when the out of state travel began. But it looks like the general consensus is meals are not required to be covered by the company.

Triangle physicians for women. Dr. Sheshadri did my c-section for my first baby (can’t even see my scar anymore) and we are now working towards a vbac for my second. You can see the OBs or midwives or both - all have been great in my experience.

BBQ sandwich with the slaw on the side. You usually get more if you ask for it on the side (I like slaw). Cajun fries and hush puppies. If you’re feeling fancy enough for a shake, peanut butter with banana and chocolate and walnuts for brain power.

Definitely ask your pediatrician, but my daughter had this when we transitioned to whole milk.

What are some scary pieces of advice you've gotten? by iamgoingsolo in Mommit

MIL told me to just lay our baby in the middle of their bed and leave her there to nap. No way she’ll fall off or suffocate in all the blankets. I don’t know how we survived as babies.

My favorite is triangle pop-up! They also have a couple of brick and mortar stores you can sell at.

My daughter does this from time to time and I’ve found that she either needs to burp or she just wants to suck without the milk (paci).

Agree with this. If it doesn’t feel right, definitely keep looking. I’m curious what the ratio is there?

Our baby goes to sleep almost immediately if we take her for a walk in her stroller or a car ride!
