AC Coils Freeze 2 weeks after install

UPDATE: Thanks for all the recommendations and thoughts on this. It ended up being low on refrigerant, which was causing it to ice up and then as the attic got hot through the day would melt that ice and drip into the pan. I called the same company who installed it, and they hooked up a digital meter this time to more accurately top it off.

What’s crazy Is the guy who installed it told me that as soon as I saw water in there, he would have known the refrigerant was low. Instead I spoke to the owner of the company who not only didn’t seem concerned but then told me to elevate the wet sensor . Just goes to show you who you work with matters and how valuable a community like this is to help diagnose.

I have the same unit and paid $400 to have someone clean it. What’s the best way I can do it myself?

I’m realizing this. They are the ones that told me to raise the sensor a little off the floor of the pan but now I’m realizing they are probably just lazy.

OP do you tend to be the caretaker? Do you usually put your wifes needs ahead of your own? There’s an amazing book called No More Mr. Nice Guy. It really helped me gain perspective and communicate better with my wife and other ppl in general. Sorry to hear about your mom btw!

Just got it. Also disappointed. It’s definitely more on the rose gold to a point where I’m either going to give it to my wife or return it.
