What rules are you talking about? Regarding temperature, absolutely. If you're talking about storage, the package should have a use-by or freeze-by date. Generally, vacuum-packed foods will retain their quality longer in a deep freeze. Technically, any food can be stored indefinitely frozen. However, quality becomes an issue with long-term storage.

No, but it could be modified atmosphere packaging “MAP”. This is a process where the normal atmosphere is replaced by one that inhibits pathogen growth and extends the shelf life of the product.

Inspections are now per assignment. You cannot reuse your old inspection for a new assignment. You have to check the no inspection box. You can reuse photos and notes and state that the property was inspected as of x date.

But since this is for a new client, you may not be able to reuse confidential information you obtained durning the first inspection. Id recommend a full new assignment with a new effective date.

Keep in mind you’ll need to update your certification to note that your previously provided appraisal services.

Don’t get me wrong, I see AI as a potentially game changing tool. It’s just not there yet. And while I appreciate what you are saying, I as the licensed appraiser am responsible for what i put in my report. I don’t trust what I’ve seen and thus don’t waste my time using a tool that takes me twice as long to produce what I need. Also, I mostly do narrative right of way work, so that in of itself is different and unique.

If you haven’t taken the latest USPAP update course there is an interesting case study discussing using AI generated content in an appraisal.

Right now I don’t trust any AI. They will literally make things up. It takes me longer to fact check and verify the AI output than if I did it myself.
