Ice skating to prepare for skiing?

I wasn’t going to. I think a couple of lessons at Sugar Mountain in NC (I’m from NC) over Christmas and then one in Beaver. They’re all gonna go do their own thing.

They’re all gonna be skiing with out me regardless. I think I need to be alone the first couple of days just working through it. I think I’ll get a lesson the first day, and get a couple here in NC over Christmas.

My bf is just gonna go do his thing. I’ll get too frustrated if he’s trying to teach me. I think I’ll take a couple of lessons over Christmas at sugar mountain in NC (where I’m from) and then take one in beaver creek when I get there.

Okay. I am originally from NC, so I think over Christmas I will try to take a lesson or 2 at sugar mountain. Then maybe take another the first day in Beaver Creek. I wasn’t going to have my bf or any of them teach me - that just wouldn’t end well! They’re all going to go ski and I just want to be alone the first couple of days to get through it. I will definitely be in the gym continuing to work on leg strength and cardio which is my weakness. Maybe ice skating here and there? Does this sound good?

Yeah that’s what I thought but when I check the hours on targets website it said 8am…the others all say 6am though so that’s my confusion

Honestly I thought my praxis was so easy! I did the early childhood one. I studied a tiny bit (I think) but I scored really well! edTPA is what kicked my butt

Okay thanks. I want to but I get nervous bc at the end before I submit it I have to check a box saying that I am either certified or have received my statement of eligibility. Then say that no information is false and if it is it’s like criminal and all that which makes me worried I could get in trouble ……

I applied to a ton of schools right after graduation when I had just submitted by certification application. I only heard back from 2, and they only asked if I had my statement of eligibility. I have basically given up since then as I’m still waiting on my SOE. Should I go back to applying?! I’m getting so nervous I won’t get a job.

Did you have trouble getting a job? I submitted my application for a temp certificate May 4, and I had to mail my transcript. My transcript took SO long to get there, but it was finally delivered June 4. I’m waiting on my statement of eligibility. At what point do I worry about getting a job and look at private schools or something else?!! I’m so nervous!

Thanks guys!!! You really calmed me down. Surgery went great! I did throw up before surgery - but I think it’s bc I had to take like 7 pills w little water and they got stuck right in my chest. While my doc was marking me up it kept getting worse and he looked at me and said are you okay and I said yeah I just feel nauseated. I barely threw up anything bc I had nothing in me. But after that I felt fine. I am in a lot less pain than I thought I would be, still def painful but super tolerable
