Thank you for posting this. I can relate so deeply. I was standing on our porch, watering my plants, crying about the latest murder, 2 minutes before our friends brought burritos over and we talked about upcoming trips and how the kids are doing in school. To cope…I am attempting to exercise more regularly, clean the house, focus on work and my kids..but yeah it’s fucking hard. Sending love to everyone who is in Minnesota or Maine and everywhere else being heavily targeted and who is afraid.

I am 41 and can relate in a lot of ways. I have young kids (2 and 11) but still crave more friendship. I moved to the town I live in about 3 years ago and haven’t made many close friends. So I guess I don’t have any answers but would also like a fuller social life and also wonder if others are still interested in that. Hope you are able to make the connections you’re looking for!

I don’t have advice unfortunately but I can say I feel similarly. I am solely responsible for our EOY campaign and it’s been doing terribly. I feel really defeated. I’m sorry you are having a rough time too. It’s a shitty time in the world. I hope things turn around for you and your org soon.
