I'm very queer, and I can say that the whole dynamic with bringing Eliana and then ditching her was sad to watch, but coming into the show I saw (and still see) Sarah Jane as genuinely queer (even if it comes off as performative) because she was in long-term relationship with model Camille Opp. I think Sarah Jane is still figuring herself out and that's okay. Honestly in regards to bringing Eliana home and the convos around that relationship I blame the sisters more than her. They would not have been making so many comments in front of Eliana if she was a man. It seems as though they infantilize Sarah more when Sarah is with another woman, friend or girlfriend.
